For me, the colder seasons seem to work the best for my hair. I have naturally wavy hair. If I were to let it air dry it would be a frizzy disaster. My hair can get a little frizzy in the humid climates so I just love the way it holds in the cooler months.
To get my loose curls, I start off by shampooing and conditioning with the Davines Oi Line. My hairdresser introduced me to this line and there was no turning back. The smell is amazing and it leaves my hair manageable with no sticky residue. I find a lot of products weigh my hair down and leave a greasy residue. This line is one of the few that does not.
Out of the shower, I spray a bit of this detangler on my hands and rub through. FYI You can't purchase this product from the official site. You can get it through Amazon or you can also purchase in store at Blo. I blow dry my hair into 3 sections with this round brush. This brush is amazing! It's the perfect size and gives just enough volume.
I LOVE this barrel curling iron. I got this from my salon but I see it's way cheaper on Amazon. First I spray my hair with this heat protecter. (I actually got this from my Fab Fit Fun box. I will do a post on that so you can see what it's all about.). Next, I split my hair into two sections (top and bottom) and curl the pieces away from my face. I always leave the ends out of the iron to give it more of a beachy look. When I'm done, I rub this oil into my hands to warm it up and then run my fingers through my hair. Also, I do NOT use hairspray. It weighs my hair down and also prevents it from holding up the next day. I like the way it looks when the curls fall and I'm left with a tousled just rolled out of bed look!
