Before I get into this post, I wanted to give a huge thank you to everyone who took the time to read my story. I was extremely nervous when I hit the post button. I'm not sure why I was so anxious, as you all have been so kind. The amount of comments, private emails and messages has been welcoming and truly comforting. Some of you just wanted to say thank you and others have also shared their stories with me. I took the time to read each one and I'm truly grateful to have such a wonderful support group. Infertility awareness week is done but I recommend if you are going through it, take the time to visit the website, read stories and perhaps it will lead you to share your story or join a support group. You don't need to go through this alone.
With that being said, it's not entirely a women's journey. Men have to go through this too and as a couple I believe it's important to take time for one another. My husband (Joey) and I try to get out at least once a month for a date night. It doesn't always have to be elaborate and sometimes it may just be a quick coffee but I highly recommend taking some time out to just enjoy each other.
Now you all know how much I love Something Navy and here's another piece from her Spring collection. She really has one of kind pieces for all occasions and I love how each piece has a unique detail that sets it apart. This top also comes in black and white but I love the vibrancy of the red. I decided it was perfect for my upcoming dinner date with Joey.
This top has a corset like feel with functional buttons going up the center but what really sets it apart is the puff sleeve. It's so flattering and really brings an outfit to life! It's true to size and I'm wearing a size small. I paired it with black leggings and a black kitten heel. I'm including my full outfit details below. Comment below and let me know some of your date night ideas!
